After seeking Federal Government financial support for the Royal Flying Doctor Service’s new fleet of aircraft, I was delighted when the Liberal Government delivered $4.5 million towards sustaining the work of this important health service. The first of the fantastic new PC-24 jet aircrafts recently arrived in Perth. The aircrafts can service all of WA without having to refuel, and have the capability to carry three patients on stretchers as well as two medical teams. The Royal Flying Doctor Service benefits more than 60,000 West Australians every year, delivering life-saving aero medical evacuations and transfers, and a range of primary healthcare services to those who live, work and travel across WA.
